items." - Potentially our supply chain partners would be exposed to
circa 35% cost uplifts. Glenn Sheedy has factored this into his

• Nickel/Stainless Steel has seen complexity of price increases continue to be supported by Western
sanctions against Russia over its invasion of Ukraine, which sparked concerns over the metal supply.
Impact over supply is expected within the next 3-4 months when stock levels reduce. Lightweight stainlesssteel
pipe and fittings (Peglar Pressfit) for heating, chilled and domestic pipework and any large bore
heavy stainless steel pipework for the water industry is expected to be impacted on supply availability
however, it's not yet clear to what extent the price point of these products will increase as a result of the
increase in the cost of Nickel

$33,231 per tonne (-10.7% change in the period on Nickel)
Update 28th April 2022 $33,281 per tonne (-10.7% change in the period on Nickel)
Oil • Oil prices have soared through the Covid-19 pandemic and since the Conflict began, the situation has
escalated pushing up fuel prices to record high levels that will have another big impact on road
transportation and shipping costs.
• With oil and consequential fuel prices still rising it is difficult to know when we will hit the top of this cost
curve, but steel price increases will have to be applied to offset such higher transportation costs,
especially on material we import from Turkey.
• Laing O'Rourke have entered into a national agreement with WFL (UK) Ltd to supply hydrotreated
